“Death and life are in the power of the tongue…” –Proverbs 18:21
“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…” –Proverbs 23:7
The tongue is powerful, and so are thoughts.
Whether we say it aloud or not, what we say to ourselves and think about ourselves matters. What we say and think about our capabilities and capacity matters. What we say and think about our future matters.
Be mindful of not only what you speak but also what you think—both matter.
Progress is progress no matter how slow or insignificant moves may feel or seem. Be careful not to let setbacks, delays, or life pauses make you feel as though your efforts don’t count. They definitely count!
Stay focused on your vision and keep moving forward—even if you can only move an inch at a time. Soon you’ll see all you envisioned and more.
“If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.” –Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Act as if what you do makes a difference. It does.” –William James
Your unique gift is the key to making the ordinary extraordinary. It’s your special touch that makes the difference, and the world needs it. The world needs you!
“You’ve got to think about big things while you’re doing small things, so that all the small things go in the right direction.” –Alvin Toffler
Your vision is larger than your current capacity, but it’s still within reach. Focus on your vision and align your actions accordingly. Every step you take, whether it feels significant or not, brings you closer to making your vision a reality. Soon, what once seemed impossible will be possible.
You have been blessed to see another day. Unfortunately, not everyone is still here to experience it. Take this day as an opportunity to do something meaningful.
“I believe that the most meaningful way to succeed is to help other people succeed.” –Adam Grant
Do something meaningful, not only to enhance your life but to enhance the lives of others.
